This is what has driven our teams since 1833.Since that time, we have developed to become a critical partner in the global aviation industry, delivering time-critical logistics services at over 300 locations in 65 countries, across 6 continents.But at the heart of our business is our people.Role PurposeAs a Menzies Aviation Ramp Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising the unloading and loading of luggage, freight and cargo on and off commercial aircraft. The Ramp Supervisor will also drive and operate small specialized commercial vehicles. This position will require heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and stretching.What You Will Be DoingSupervise and support lead ramp agents, including mentoring, conducting shift briefings, ramp agent resource allocation, and ensuring adherence to safety regulations.Handle personnel processes such as interviewing, hiring, training, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions and addressing complaints and resolving problems as needed for violations of company policy.Complete administrative tasks, including shift reports, timecard signing, and disciplinary incident and/or termination reports.Oversee cargo and baggage operations, including loading/unloading aircraft and transporting items between terminals and facilities.Operate ground support equipment and interpret key documentation like weight and balance loading instructions, hazardous material labels, aircraft loading manifests, and baggage routing tags.Report any significant deficiency in our products, materials and documents and suggest any improvements to working practices especially those relating to Safety and security.What We Are Looking ForPrior Ramp/Airline experience required.Must be 18 years of age or olderPossess and maintain valid US driver's licensePass all pre-employment testing including a drug screen, FBI background, US Customs Seal application, and employment history.Ability to proficiently read, write and speak EnglishMust be available and flexible to work variable shifts including weekends and holidaysMust have high school diploma or GEDBenefitsPay starting at $19.50 per hourFrontier Airlines Flight Benefits!Advancement OpportunitiesMedical, Dental, and Vision insurancePaid Vacation401K Savings PlanEmployee Assistance ProgramPet Discount Coverage and Pet Insurance PlanUniform Provided$40.00 Monthly Bus/Train Voucher or Free Airport ParkingSafety, Security, Wellbeing and ComplianceYou will have a responsibility and duty whilst at work to take reasonable care of the health, safety and wellbeing of yourself and others in accordance with provided information, training, and workplace health and safety rules or procedures.
